There are certain girls in my hostel who see this and I have to run from them for my life. I hate this serial from the core of my heart. This it is stupid, has loud expressions, over the top acting, cheesy dialog, lavish sets and lack of script. Kajal Pisal as Mansi Sanaya Irani as Rani Former Cast Current Devoleena Bhattacharjee as Gopi Ahem Modi Mohammad Nazim as Ahem Modi Vishal Singh as Jigar Modi Loveleen Kaur Sasan as Paridhi Modi Shivani Surve as Khushi Modi Swati Shah as Hetal Modi Tanya Sharma as Meera Modi Sonam Lamba as Vidya Modi Paras Babbar as Tolu Modi Pratap Hada as Molu Modi Paras Tomar as Prateek Desai Manish Arora as Parag Modi Neeraj Bharadwaj as Chirag Modi Aparna Kanekar as Baa Janko Modi Vandana Vithlani as Urmila Shah Firoza Khan as Kinjal Desai Ashish Sharma as Dhaval Desai Jaya Ojha as Madhu Kapadia Hiteeka Ruchchandran as Rashi Modi Jr. After a 10 year time leap in the serial, new characters have been added. The series has also been dubbed into Telugu for broadcast on MAA TV, where it airs under the title Kodala Kodala Koduku Pellamaa. The series has been remade into Tamil as Deivam Thandha Veedu broadcast on STAR Vijay and remade into Malayalam as Chandanamazha broadcast on Asianet. :-) Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, although set in Rajkot, is filmed in Mumbai. But sometimes the story plot can just get a bit random (ok most of the time). Where were they going to go without Ahem, who was one of their protagonists? I am certain that after a certain number of episodes, the creators and writers just started making a random story plot everyday, and considering the time in which they created these mini stories it was quite impressive. Perhaps the writers were writing in a hurry and didn't realise the horrible mistake they were making. A good example of this is when Ahem died, then for some reason another guy who happened to look exactly like him appeared. Perhaps there was a beginning and end to the story line, but Star was too keen on milking every last drop of revenue they could generate from the show. I have a strong feeling that Saathiya was not well planned through, and it was as if the owners of Star egged the Saathiya franchise to continue to make terrible, unimaginative episodes of the show. To a certain extent Saathiya was an entertaining show, although that certain extent is quite low.
